1. PAYMENT

All payments and bookings must be CLEARED no later than 16 March 2012.

What if I want to send a cheque?

We can accept cheques for table bookings only. Individual ticket bookings must be paid for either online, or with a credit card over the phone. Please make cheques payable to Birmingham Pride Ball.

Do you accept BACS transfers?

Yes. Please contact Julia in accounts on 01743 281717 or email julia@21stcd.com for details.


2. FOOD & WINE

Do you have a vegetarian or vegan option?

Yes, we have both. You can select your menu options online, in the “manage your booking section”, OR call 01743 281701, OR email Jess at info@prideball.co.uk with dietary requirements by 18 March 2012 at the latest.

If no options are specified, we will assume that NO dietary options are required.

I have a food allergy, can you cater for this?

Yes, any interolerances, nut allergies, dietary issues etc can be catered for. You can select your menu options online, in the “manage your booking section”, OR call 01743 281712, OR email info@prideball.co.uk with dietary requirements by 18 March 2012 at the latest.

If no options are specified, we will assume that NO dietary options are required.

Pre-Ordering Your Wine

We STRONGLY advise you to do this to avoid queues. Plus, you can arrive at your table and have your wine straight away!

All wine must be preordered by 19th March 2012.

I have preordered my wine, but there is no where to put my table number. What do I do?

Don’t panic! The Pride Ball organisers have all the details of your seating arrangements. Providing we know the name of your party or your party organizer, your wine will be waiting for you when you arrive.


3.  YOUR TICKETS

My tickets have not arrived yet, what should I do?

Tickets are sent out once the table plans have been finalised. Fear not, you will receive all your tickets in plenty of time. If you know they are in the post, have not been received and are concerned, please call 01743 281712 or email info@prideball.co.uk

Do I need my ticket at the door?

Please ensure that ALL your guests bring their tickets with them – for security reasons, admission is strictly by ticket only.

Can I book a ticket last minute?

Yes you can if there is any availability left. It is not advisable as tickets sell very quickly, and there will be limited spaces around the venue, but we will endeavour to place you in the best possible position with the tickets we have left. If it is too late to post your ticket, we will leave it on the door for you in a named envelope.


4.  SEATING

How many guests are seated per table?

There are 10 places on each table.  You may book a table and have less than 10 people on the table if you wish.  Or you may book tickets if you have less than 10 guests, though please be aware that you may be sitting with other guests who have been allocated the same table. 

Where am I sitting?

Your invitation ticket features the floor plan with your table number printed on it – this should ensure that it is easier for your guests to find their particular table.

If you have booked more than one table please give your guests the correct tickets to your table plan. There will be escorts to take you to your tables, and staff on hand if you are unsure of your seating arrangements.

Can I guarantee a seat or a table?

No. We cannot guarantee any particular table or seat, only the section in which you have booked. We can take requests and do our best to accommodate you.


5.  ANTI-SOCIAL BEHAVIOUR

Please note that no anti-social behaviour will be tolerated whatsoever. Any guest that arrives drunk will not be permitted into the event. Any guest that is being anti-social or aggressive in any way during the evening will be automatically ejected from the venue.

There is a ZERO TOLERANCE drugs policy. Any guest found with drugs will be ejected from the venue, banned from further attendance at any Birmingham Pride event, and prosecuted.


6.  CLOAKROOM

Is there somewhere I can put my coat?

If you wish to hand your coat in, the cloakroom is located near the entrance of the ICC and will cost £1 per item.


7.  PARKING

Where can I park?

The ICC has over 2,500 parking spaces, so there is plenty of room if you intend on driving. Otherwise, there are plenty of multistory car parks within walking distance.

8.  ITINERARY

What time do we have to arrive?

Please ensure that your guests arrive between 7pm and 7.30pm. On arrival all guest will be invited to sit down at the tables.

Please note that during the Opening Performance of the event, NO LATE COMERS WILL BE ADMITTED to the hall until after the opening performance has finished at 8.30pm.

What time does the event finish?

The entertainment, disco and bars will finish at 1am. The event and venue will close at 1.30am

What is the Afterparty?

The afterparty continues long into the night after the event has finished down in the gay village. With your ticket, you can gain free entry into participating gay venues.


9.  FILMING & PHOTOGRAPHY

Please bare in mind that there will be camera crews and photographers covering the event. If you do not wish to be filmed or photographed, please notify a member of the film crew or photographer.
